June 8, 2016

BOCA RATON, FL — Florida Economic Development Council annual conference, held recently at the Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, Florida, honored the Research Park at Florida Atlantic University with the Innovation in Marketing Award for its 2015 Report to the Community. The award recognizes the outstanding contributions of organizations for economic development and innovative best practices for our communities and abroad.

The annual report communicates the results achieved by the entrepreneurs in the Research Park and the Technology Business Incubator®, demonstrating the significant impact these advanced industries companies have on the regional economy.

“The Research Park is thrilled that its 2015 Report to the Community is being recognized by FEDC, knowing that the report reflects the hard work of many entrepreneurs that are building exciting companies for the future,” stated Andrew Duffell, president & CEO of the Research Park.  “We had an exciting story to tell after completing another year of solid growth with increases in revenue, private investment, employment, and new patents. The report used a unique graphic design intended to attract a reader and then to present a lot of interesting information in a colorful, easy-to-read format.”
