AMBIT PRESIDENT HONORED BY WOMEN IN COMMUNICATIONS

Kathy Koch, President and Creative Director at Fort Lauderdale-based Ambit Marketing Communications, has been named 2004's "Woman of the Year" by the Atlantic-Florida chapter of Women in Communications. The award was given in the advertising, marketing, agencies category. Koch is the top executive at Ambit, a full service firm she founded in 1985, and was also cited for an impressive record of community service. She most recently chaired The Coordinating Council of Broward County and Broward Alliance Think Tank, and is a board member for the United Way of Broward County, Broward Community College Foundation, and the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art.

Koch, a Fort Lauderdale resident, has previously been recognized by the South Florida Business Journal as their "Business Woman of the Year," by the March of Dimes as a "Woman of Distinction," and received the VISTA award from the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
